I'm Chelsea. A twenty-something mama of two boys living in Buffalo, NY with my husband-to-be, Jim. Our five-year-old, Xander, attends a local Montessori school and our three-year-old, Ezzie is
currently homeschooled. I let my children decide whether to learn at school or home.

I believe in a Montessori education with Reggio inspired play for early childhood. When my children get older I plan to take the unschooling approach.

I work from home, selling vintage clothing in my Etsy shop, Radical Retro.

I like drinking lots of coffee, drawing, and dressing like I'm from the early 1970's.

Paper House started when Xander suggested I make "book movies" so I could read to him when I'm not home and I thought it was a great idea! I looked at other free ebooks and notice a lack of
word by word read alongs so I decided to create them. It's really fun and the kids both love them.

I expanded Paper House from a Youtube channel to a Blog so I could share those ebooks as well as the educational materials I make for my kids. I hope you enjoy them!

Xander is our chatty and creative five year old.

He loves drawing, coloring, and creating small statues. He is interested in sewing, and wants to open an Etsy shop selling pouches we make together for other kids so we're working on it!

His favorite things in the world are "rainbow seahorses and rainbow butterflies".

When he grows up, Xander wants to make wooden toys and be a firefighter.

This is Xander's first year at a school. He's enjoying it a lot and so are we, but I do hope he'll
choose to be homeschooled again.

Ezzie is our three year old. He is almost always contagiously happy and laughs with joy
at everything, from a falling leaf, to a passing-by insect.

Ezzie has always been very mechanical and recently started taking apart old toys and electronics (with our guidance, of course) and even trying to put them back together - he has gotten
very close!

He hopes to one day be a Power Ranger, but I think he'll be an engineer.
